Security of Payment Act

For our clients who operate within the Building and Construction Industry, we will generally enforce the security of payment act “SOPA” to secure payment on an accounts inexpensively and speedily without the need for extensive use of lawyers, court hearings, witnesses, cross examinations and all that is usually involved in arbitration or litigation.

Within a matter of weeks, a Creditor known as the Claimant can obtain judgment for a progress payment on account, which compels the debtor known as the Respondent to pay.
